Jalango’s replacement at Kiss 100 unveiled

Ever since renowned media personality Jalango announced that he would be dropping the mic in February to concentrate on his Langata parliamentary ambitions, there have been speculations about who would replace him at Kiss 100.

Jalango has been hosting the Morning Kiss show alongside veteran journalist Kamene Goro and built a formidable partnership that has drawn several listeners to their drive.

However, as he exits, it seems popular comedian Sande Bush known for the stage name Dr. Ofweneke will be accompanying Kamene in the succeeding days.

The possibilities have been raise by a post shared on Jalango’s social media pages and which indicated that Ofweneke was joining them for Tuesday’s program.

In a similar post shared by Kiss’ apparent new family, Ofweneke disclosed that he would be on the morning show throughout the week, indicating a possible induction.

Ofweneke is not a new entrant in the media industry having worked in various radio stations with his longest stretch being at Milele FM where he served for five years.

He has also had stints on TV where he has been hosting reality shows.

The comedin’s possible move to Kiss could mean that he has shelved his ambitions to vie for Lurambi parliamentary seat.

Comedian Sande Bush popularly known as Dr. Ofweneke speaks in pure English with a Nigerian accent and has got many to believe he is actually a Nigerian.

However, he maintains he is a Kenyan and not from the West African nation as many believe.

Speaking during Bonga Na Jalas show with Jalango, the comedian revealed that he was born in Nairobi, raised up in Kakamega, and has never stepped foot in Nigeria.

Ofweneke, who is also a pastor, disclosed that he is tired of doing comedy with the Nigerian accent and is contemplating quitting the show.
