Celebrated Ugandan legendary Producer, Songwriter, and prolific artist Daddy Andre real name Andrew Ojambo has teamed up with Ugandan songstress Winnie Nwagi on a new song single titled ‘’Omukwano’’.
In ‘Omukwano’ (loosely translated from Luganda to mean ‘love’), Daddy Andre sings of how he craves to be near his woman. It talks about a love story in which Daddy Andre pleads with his female friend that they should team up again and revive their love story that has been on hold ever since she went out of his sight. Winnie Nwagi nails the hook; noting that she yearns for love, but is not interested in a one-night stand.
Omukwano is a beautiful song and a perfect item that comes as a true gift to both artists’ fans since there is no good time this duet would have released this hotly anticipated song.
The song was written and produced by Black Market Records’ music master Daddy Andre, brings out the best of both artists versatility capabilities as Daddy Andre displays both his vocal and dancehall riddim flow in a love style as his female counterpart Winnie Nwagi showcases the best soothing rhythm complimented with great calm vocals.
Judging by the reception so far, ‘Omukwano’ is set to be a massive tune, especially once the visuals are released.
Daddy Andre has been actively releasing back-to-back music since the year began. He is heavily investing in collaborations with other artists to widen his fan base.
On the other hand, Winnie Nwagi is not the kind of musician who releases songs regularly. However, when she finally drops a song, it always ends up being a hit. For instance, her lost song ‘Ssasi KuNyama’ which she released in May this year is still a hit.
