Afrobeats up-and-comer, Izzy Eze is the new artist to watch out for

Fusing Afrobeats with R&B melodies, Izzy is at the top of her game as she borrows from her Nigerian culture, as well as the sounds of her London hometown, to create her dynamic and distinctive sound.

‘African Londoner’ is the striking release from the highly anticipated up-and-comer, Izzy Eze.

Fusing Afrobeats with R&B melodies, Izzy is at the top of her game as she borrows from her Nigerian culture, as well as the sounds of her London hometown, to create her dynamic and distinctive sound.

Exhibiting her rich vocals and impeccable range, she maneuvers the hypnotic rhythm with ease, as achingly slick verses from fellow UK singer-songwriter and producer D’wante Navire add a certified edge to the track.

A singer/songwriter and poet, Izzy Eze was born and raised in London to Nigerian parents, with her aptitude for blending an array of genres tracing back to her childhood discovery of music. At the tender age of 17, she directed her college Gospel choir, which inspired her to begin crafting a discography of her own.

Having been spun on the likes of BBC3 Counties Radio, Kiss FM and Ben TV, Izzy has also performed solo sets on prominent stages including Sofar London and O2 Academy, where she sold out her first headline show. With her two previous releases such as ‘Lesson From Me’ and ‘Be Mine’ racking up over 16,000 collective streams on Spotify, she is on the cusp of becoming the country’s next big sensation.

An unmissable artist who beams with infectious energy, Izzy Eze is a must-have on your summertime playlist.
